The Opportunity

The world your teen is entering
looks nothing like it did five years ago.

AI has collapsed the barriers to building real things. Teenagers today can create products, launch services, and build portfolios that would have required an adult team and significant capital just a few years ago.

The question isn't whether AI will change their future — it already has. The question is whether your teenager will be one of the people who knows how to use it, or one of the people trying to catch up later.

The teenagers who develop genuine AI fluency now will enter adulthood with an advantage that compounds every year. Level Up exists to make sure yours is one of them.

The Programme

Seven weeks. Their choice.
Their advantage.

Level Up offers two courses this summer. Teenagers can take one or both — every course builds real skills, a real portfolio, and a real head start.

🧠
Think with AI — not just use it
Understand how AI actually works, where it fails, and how to use it as a thinking partner rather than a shortcut.
📁
Build a real portfolio
Leave with actual work that demonstrates real-world skills — not just certificates and theoretical knowledge.
💰
Earn money before 18
Learn how to offer AI-powered services and create digital products — practical routes to income while still in school.
✍️
Write and communicate better
Use AI to sharpen — not replace — their voice. Strong communication is the skill that separates good from exceptional.
Work 10× faster on anything
Master prompt engineering, workflow design, and the tools that compress hours of work into minutes — ethically.
🔍
Think critically about technology
Spot AI output that's wrong, biased, or misleading. Teenagers who can verify are the ones who can be trusted.

Two courses.
They pick what fits.

Each course runs as a live cohort. Teenagers can take one or both — each stands alone and builds toward a complete AI skill set.

01
Beyond the Grades

Beyond the Grades — Positioning for the Future of Work

Grades open doors, but they're not enough on their own. This course helps teenagers understand what actually makes them stand out — to universities, employers, and the wider world — and how to build that edge deliberately.

  • Understand which roles and industries AI is reshaping — and how fast
  • Build a personal career positioning strategy
  • Build a compelling profile that stands out in university applications
  • Develop a portfolio of real, demonstrable skills
02
Build & Earn

Build and Earn Now

The barriers to building real products have collapsed. This course shows teenagers how to create AI-powered tools, services, and digital products — and how to earn their first income before they turn 18.

  • Build working tools and products using AI and no-code platforms
  • Set up a simple online service or digital product
  • Earn their first income online — practically and legally
  • Leave with a live portfolio of real work
💡

Not sure which to pick? Both courses complement each other well — Beyond the Grades gives the strategic foundation, while Build and Earn Now puts those skills straight into practice. Many teenagers take both.

Who It's For

Built for teenagers ready
to stop watching and start building.

This is for your teen if they…
  • Are aged 13–18 and curious about AI — even if they don't know where to start
  • Want skills that actually matter beyond GCSEs and A-levels
  • Are interested in earning money online or starting something of their own
  • Feel like they're using AI but not really getting the most from it
  • Want to stand out when applying to university, jobs, or internships
  • Are ready to spend a summer doing something genuinely useful
No prior experience needed.
  • Zero coding experience required — we use AI and no-code tools throughout
  • No existing business or income stream needed — we start from scratch
  • Works for any subject interest — science, arts, business, creative
  • Designed for UK teens but relevant to anyone, anywhere
  • Live cohort means they learn alongside other motivated teenagers, not alone
  • All sessions are recorded — life happens, and they won't fall behind
Ayo Olawoye, Founder of Future Skills Collective
"I built this because I'm a parent who did the research — and what I found changed how I think about everything."

By day, I work with large datasets and can code. I also run two businesses, and AI is central to how I operate both — it's what allows me to do multiple things at the same time, at a level that simply wouldn't be possible otherwise. That's not a theoretical claim. It's my daily reality.

But the reason Level Up exists is simpler than any of that — I'm a parent. I spent months digging into what AI genuinely means for teenagers entering the workforce over the next five to ten years. What I found changed how I think about everything. The barriers to building real things have collapsed. Teenagers today can create products, earn income, and build portfolios that would have required an adult team and significant capital just a few years ago.

Level Up exists to make sure your teenager knows how.

Everything you need
to make the decision.

How do we choose which courses are right? +

Both courses complement each other well — Beyond the Grades gives the strategic foundation, while Build and Earn Now puts those skills straight into practice. Many teenagers take both. If you're unsure, just email us and we'll help you decide.

What age range is this designed for? +

Level Up is designed for teenagers aged 13–18. The content, pace, and tone are all built for this age group — not watered-down adult material. Exceptions are made for advanced 12-year-olds where appropriate.

Does my teen need any prior experience? +

No prior experience of any kind is needed. No coding, no existing knowledge of AI, no business background. Every course starts from the beginning and builds progressively. We use AI and no-code tools throughout — everything is accessible from day one.

How does the live cohort format work? +

Each live session takes place over Zoom and lasts 90 minutes. Every course has 5 sessions in total. If your teen falls behind or needs extra support, the instructors are very flexible and will provide help during or after any session. There's also a private community — strictly monitored and focused solely on peer support, not distraction.

How much time does it require? +

Each course is 7.5 hours of teaching across 5 live sessions of 90 minutes each (including short breaks). Between sessions, students will have out-of-session work to prepare for the next one — but don't worry, this is interesting and genuinely fun work your teen will enjoy. Summer is the ideal time because there's space to absorb and apply what they're learning without school pressure.

What does the portfolio actually look like? +

By the end of their course or courses, your teen will have a curated set of real work — projects they built, essays they've written with AI assistance, tools they created, or evidence of their first income-generating activity. It's not a certificate — it's actual work they can show to universities and employers.

What happens at the end of the course? +

By the end of their course or courses, your teen will have a completed portfolio of real work — projects, written pieces, tools they've built, or evidence of their first earning activity. They'll also receive a certificate of completion from Future Skills Collective. More importantly, they'll leave with a concrete set of skills and the confidence to keep using them. The community stays open after the course ends, so they can continue connecting with the cohort.

The teens who start this July will be a year ahead by September.

Cohort 1 is small by design. Enrolment closes when spots fill.
